Our Beginning

A Better Way

Legacy Claim Solutions (LCS) was established in 2005 as Gitter & Associates, Inc. LCS President, Greg Gitter, identified a very real need in the national workers' compensation industry while handling files of his own, and managing workers' compensation claims offices over a nearly twenty-year period.

Legacy claims, or old dogs, frequently bog down the entire workers' compensation system costing employers, carriers, and TPAs millions of dollars in claims expenses. Often times, these claims go unresolved for a variety of reasons and are lost in the shuffle of the complicated workers' compensation system. Upon recognition of this need, Greg went to work creating a proprietary system that easily identifies these claims, and more importantly, values these claims in a fair, efficient, and accurate manner.

This system has been perfected over the years, and is now more formally known as the LCS Signature Valuation Program™. Our model has proven to be effective with our clients over countless claims realizing millions of dollars in savings.

LCS was created to provide national workers’ compensation consulting services for business of all sizes. The LCS team brings over 50 years of experience with national workers’ compensation programs, reserving practices, experience modifiers, and Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) compliance obligations.

This experience, coupled with our LCS Signature Valuation Program™, gives us the ability to identify a point in the workers’ compensation claims process where companies can realize significant savings over a short period of time. In addition to our national workers’ compensation expertise, our highly-trained technicians maintain a detailed understanding of federal workers’ compensation jurisdictions including United States Longshore & Harbor (USL&H) and Jones Act, as well as safety consulting and general business consulting services.

Our goal at Legacy Claim Solutions is to give our clients the ability to strengthen their corporate bottom line through the identification and aggressive resolution of high exposure workers’ compensation claims.
